ABOUT THIS POSITION
UX Designers at Waystar are responsible for ensuring that the software we create is easy to use, easy to learn, and provides maximum efficiency for the user. Working directly with our energetic and dynamic head of User Experience, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly effective team and build software you will truly be proud of.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Working closelywith Product Managers totransform business goals into actionable UX/UIbusiness requirements in line with a user-centered design philosophy
CollaboratingwithProduct and Engineeringto vet andrefine UX/UI requirements
UsingUX/UI business requirements todevelop conceptual wireframes and process flows
Creatinghigh-fidelity interactive prototypeswhen needed(foruser testing, communicating requirements,etc)
Fully owningdesign projectswithinanassigned product area
Maintainingin-depthfamiliarityof features and value of the productswithin assigned product area
Participating insite visits, interviews, and surveys to develop a thorough understanding of our users
Usingadvanced behavioral metrics techniques tofind opportunities for improvement
ProvidingUX subject matterexpertisewithin their design pod
Providingdesign and process guidanceto help other departments wherever needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
2+ years of experience designingbusinesssoftware UX
Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AItools
Bachelor’s degree inHCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design,a related field, orpossessingequivalent experience
Intermediateknowledge of front-end technologies used to implement designs (HTML, CSS, etc.)
Natural ability to create andgrowrelationshipsbetweenteamsand across departments
Portfoliodemonstratingdesign capabilities andtrack recordof quantifiable resultsfrompastprojects
Excellent heuristic usability analysis skills
Strong requirements-gathering and business analysis skills
Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - quickly and iteratively, delivering on time
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Motivated by solving complex problems
