Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Must be local to Acton, MA We’re looking for a talented and collaborative UX Designer to help design high-impact digital touchpoints that surround the Omnipod product. This includes everything that helps our customers succeed: from onboarding experiences and customer portals to medical data dashboards and healthcare provider tools. As a UX Designer, you’ll work on complex projects, help shape our product experience, and collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and marketing. You will help create a cohesive, accessible, and empowering end-to-end journey for our users. This role is part of a collaborative design team that works closely within a larger, company-wide UX organization.   • Execute End-to-End Design: Create web-based and cross-platform digital experiences, such as onboarding flows, customer portals, and medical data dashboards.
  • Collaborate on Initiatives: Work closely with product managers and engineers to take design projects from discovery through delivery.
  • Advocate for Users: Ensure design solutions balance customer needs with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Prototype & Wireframe: Use Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Miro to build wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
  • Incorporate Insights: Work with user research and content strategy teams to ensure your designs are rooted in real customer data and insights.
  • Apply Best Practices: Utilize accessibility, usability, and responsive design standards to create inclusive and intuitive interfaces.
  • Agile Partnership: Participate in agile development cycles, contributing to product planning and advocating for experience quality.
  • Platform Alignment: Partner with technical teams to ensure a seamless experience across connected platforms, including evaluating data flows and maintaining brand consistency.
  • Iterate & Improve: Help evolve existing products and unify fragmented experiences into a seamless, cohesive ecosystem.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in UX or Product Design, with a focus on customer-centric digital products.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Figma and modern collaboration tools (Miro, Jira, Confluence).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, storytelling ability, and polished execution is required.
  • Agile Experience: Familiarity working in agile product development environments.
  • Accessibility Standards: A solid understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design techniques.
  • Team Mindset: Proven success collaborating with product managers and engineers.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Advanced prototyping skills (high-fidelity interactive prototypes).
