Job Description
Title: UX ResearcherLocation: Remote USDuration: 6 monthsCompensation: $60-75/hrWork Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. We Are Seeking:
A senior Mixed Methods Researcher with a strong quantitative orientation to support a product-focused research team. The majority of day-to-day work will be qualitative, so the ideal candidate will have deep qualitative research experience while also being comfortable with measurement design, statistical concepts, and interpreting findings through a quantitative lens. This individual should be proactive, highly collaborative, and able to independently drive research within a complex cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct qualitative research, including in-depth interviews and cognitive interviewing related to survey design and measurement.
Design and execute mixed methods research to inform product and business decisions.
Synthesize qualitative insights and connect findings to measurable outcomes.
Apply strong quantitative thinking to research design, analysis, and interpretation.
Partner cross-functionally with research, product, and other key stakeholders.
Proactively identify research needs, risks, dependencies, and downstream implications.
Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Independently manage research priorities and drive projects forward.
Required Qualifications:
Strong mixed methods research experience with deep qualitative expertise.
Strong quantitative reasoning and statistical foundation, including an understanding of regression-type modeling.
Experience with measurement design, survey research, and/or cognitive interviewing.
Experience translating qualitative findings into measurable product or business outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively across cross-functional teams.
Meaningful research experience within a software, technology, or product environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Approximately 10+ years of relevant research experience; flexibility based on education and depth of industry experience.
Advanced degree (PhD or similar) combined with meaningful applied industry experience.
Experience conducting research for complex software or digital products.
Experience working within large, cross-functional product organizations.
