Hourly base pay rate is $29.38 - $44.09/hour. As a UX Researcher I, you will help shape the future of automotive technology by uncovering insights that drive user-centered design. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong academic foundation in behavioral science, statistics, and research methodology, who is eager to apply these skills to real-world product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute user research including interviews, usability testing, and surveys to understand user behaviors and pain points.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Develop research artifacts such as personas, journey maps, and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research into design and development decisions.
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Behavioral Science, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction or related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field
- Solid understanding of research design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis.
- Experience or coursework in interviewing techniques and research methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop) and design platforms (Figma, Sketch).
- Knowledge of mixed-methods research and ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
- Exposure to automotive technology or SaaS products is a plus.
- MA In Behavioral Science or HCI Preferred.
