Hourly base pay rate is $29.38 - $44.09/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
As a UX Researcher I, you will help shape the future of automotive technology by uncovering insights that drive user-centered design. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong academic foundation in behavioral science, statistics, and research methodology, who is eager to apply these skills to real-world product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute user research including interviews, usability testing, and surveys to understand user behaviors and pain points.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Develop research artifacts such as personas, journey maps, and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research into design and development decisions.
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Behavioral Science, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction or related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field
Solid understanding of research design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis.
Experience or coursework in interviewing techniques and research methods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop) and design platforms (Figma, Sketch).
- Knowledge of mixed-methods research and ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
- Exposure to automotive technology or SaaS products is a plus.
- MA In Behavioral Science or HCI Preferred.

Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
