Job Description

At Delta Faucet, we are committed to transforming everyday experiences with water through innovative products and exceptional service. As a leader in the plumbing industry, we take pride in our dedication to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. We believe that diverse perspectives strengthen our mission to create solutions that inspire and elevate the lives of all our customers. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us on this journey toward inclusivity and excellence.

Your Role at Delta Faucet

We are looking for a Data-Driven UX Specialist to join our Digital Experience team. This role bridges analytics and design to lead design efforts across mobile applications, web platforms, and physical products with embedded digital interfaces aimed at creating consistent customer experiences that delight users while driving measurable business outcomes. This role blends digital design with physical interaction, requiring a deep understanding of user behavior, technical constraints, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has a passion for turning data into actionable insights, expertise in leveraging analytics tools to uncover opportunities, and the creativity to translate findings into intuitive wireframes and UX solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Synthesize quantitative data with qualitative insights (user feedback, usability studies, customer journey mapping) to build a holistic view of the digital customer experience.
  • Analyze digital experience data from platforms such as ContentSquare, Google Analytics 4, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other sources to identify opportunities to improve usability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate into new features or functionality within the digital customer experience. Recommendations will need to be evaluated for technical feasibility; strategy alignment; brand adherence; legal and regulatory standards; and optimization for value generation (e.g. revenue growth, customer satisfaction, engagement).
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and journey maps that bring insights to life and demonstrate proposed optimizations.
  • Design, develop, and execute rigorous user research experiments using platforms such as UserTesting.com, with a focus on uncovering user needs, pain points, and validating usability, accessibility, and engagement at scale. Extend experimentation to live engagements and A/B testing via Omniconvert.
  • Support test planning for company and compliance testing and deliver components that pass testing criteria.
  • Understand market trends and customer feedback to ensure the product remains competitive and meets market demands.
  • Partner with in-house research team to understand target audience personas to ensure alignment with test participants.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear narratives that connect user experience improvements to business outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor KPIs to evaluate the impact of changes and iterate solutions based on performance.
  • Monitor DX and ecommerce trends within and outside the home improvement segment. Communicate trends to internal stakeholders via a newsletter or other relevant techniques.
  • Stay current with UX best practices, emerging tools and technologies, and digital analytics capabilities to drive innovation across the team.
  • Utilize emerging AI technologies to grow the number of tests, volume of recommendations being made, and number of improvements deployed along with increasing the quality of tests, recommendations, and improvements as measured with KPIs.

The ideal candidate will work a hybrid schedule in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Informatics, Digital Analytics, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX strategy, digital analytics, or optimization roles.
  • Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in digital analytics platforms, including hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and interpreting insights from tools such as ContentSquare, Google Analytics 4, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting user research using tools such as UserTesting.com and Omniconvert, with the ability to analyze resulting data to inform and improve UX design decisions.
  • Skilled in design tools such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with experience producing wireframes and functional prototypes.
  • Demonstrated mastery of UX design principles, usability heuristics, and customer-centered design methodologies, with proven ability to apply them in complex digital experiences. Ability to blend data-driven insights with creative problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

What's in it For You

  • A unique opportunity to shape customer experiences using both data and design.
  • A collaborative environment where insights directly impact business outcomes.
