About the Role

We’re seeking freelance UX/UI Design Consultants to join our talent collective and support a range of clients across industries. This role is ideal for designers who can blend user-centered thinking with strong visual design to create intuitive, high-performing digital experiences.

Projects may include website and landing page design, product interface design, design system development, and conversion-focused UX improvements. Contract engagements typically range from 10–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive and visually compelling user experiences across web and mobile
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to bring designs to life
Optimize user flows and interfaces to improve engagement and conversion
Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
Translate business and user needs into effective design solutions
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data

Requirements

Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work across digital products or websites
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first environments
Ability to balance usability, aesthetics, and business goals
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Comfort working across different industries, products, and audiences

Nice to Have

Experience with conversion-focused design or CRO principles
Familiarity with front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, basic JS)
Experience in high-growth startup environments
Experience supporting both strategic planning and hands-on execution
