- Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and operational challenges.
- Conduct user research activities including interviews, feedback sessions, usability testing, and discovery workshops.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experiences through customer-centered design methodologies.
- Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and product requirements.
- Validate concepts through testing, iteration, and continuous feedback loops.
- Design intuitive workflows, dashboards, data visualizations, and web-based application experiences.
- Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Develop solutions for both internal enterprise users and external customer-facing experiences.
- Simplify complex processes and information into user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate throughout the full product development lifecycle, from ideation through implementation.
- Contribute to and help establish scalable design systems and component libraries.
- Leverage existing design frameworks and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
- Create reusable patterns, standards, and documentation that improve design efficiency and team alignment.
- Maintain high standards for visual design, usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Business Stakeholders, and Leadership teams.
- Present design concepts and rationale through compelling storytelling and clear communication.
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders by providing structure, recommendations, and visual direction.
- Ensure smooth design-to-development handoffs by providing detailed specifications, documentation, and implementation guidance.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- 4-8 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design processes and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience designing web-based applications, dashboards, workflows, and enterprise software experiences.
- Proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and design validation activities.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability principles.
- Ability to work independently and make recommendations with minimal direction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience designing enterprise applications, operational platforms, customer portals, or workflow-driven systems.
- Experience working within both startup and large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce environments and/or Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems and component libraries.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout implementation.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled design tools and workflows.
- Experience supporting customer service, utility, energy, SaaS, or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field
