Position Summary:
This position is responsible for greeting and warmly welcoming all guests by opening their vehicle, issuing valet tickets, parking, and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
Greets guests upon arrival and provides valet service
Assists guests with unloading their vehicle upon arrival and coordinates bell services when requested
Parks and retrieves guest vehicles in assigned areas in a safe and responsible manner
Processes and issues Valet Tickets to all guests at arrival as well as enters all required parking information into the CVPS system
Valet Attendants are required to assist with shuttling other Team Members to and from the parking area
Delivers guest vehicles upon departure to guests and assists with any baggage into their vehicle
Surveys guest vehicles and indicates any damage on the parking ticket
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors and controls vehicle traffic in the valet ports
Remains visible and attentive to the needs of guests
Coordinates with valet attendants team to ensure seamless procedures throughout the ports
Assists guests with directions and property information, as needed
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of previous driving experience
Ninety days of experience in a casino or transportation valet department or equivalent training
Must have the ability to operate various vehicles including oversized trucks and use of a manual transmission
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the company carrier
Effective communication skills that support effective customer service techniques
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
Basic computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
Training Requirements:
Knowledge of CVPS valet software system
Knowledge of property layout and location of garages
SMART alcohol awareness
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must have the endurance to move quickly for extended periods of time
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
