Valve Body Tech

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Valve Body Technician for a local automotive remanufacturing company in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with tools, following detailed procedures, and producing quality work. Candidates with automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or repair experience are encouraged to apply. The Valve Body Technician is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, rebuilding, testing, and inspecting valve body components while following established procedures and quality standards.Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
• Experience using hand tools and power tools required
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good computer skills and ability to learn proprietary software
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, work benches, and floors
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and accuracy
• Use proprietary software to order parts and create build materials
• Disassemble and clean valve body components
• Assemble and rebuild valve bodies according to specifications
• Test completed valve bodies and related electronic components, including sensors and solenoids
• Inspect components and completed products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the repair and rebuild process
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time
• Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• $20.00 per hour
