Saint Luke's and Heart Surgeons of Kansas City are seeking a fifth BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This opportunity supports a robust mix of inpatient and outpatient care across two facilities: Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City and Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Position Highlights:

  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary vascular program with strong partnership across vascular surgery, vascular medicine/interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and wound care-focused on delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient outcomes
  • Balanced clinical practice including operative care, inpatient management, and outpatient clinics (1-1.5 days/week) across two campuses: a high-acuity tertiary referral center and a community-based hospital
  • Broad procedural scope encompassing complex aortic interventions and outpatient vein treatments, supported by state-of-the-art facilities (dedicated cardiovascular and hybrid ORs, cardiac anesthesia, and outpatient vein procedure suites)
  • Robust clinical infrastructure with APP support across care settings and a dedicated vascular lab staffed by experienced sonographers
  • Favorable call schedule (no more than 1:4)
  • Large, supportive research program with active participation in multiple clinical studies
  • Leader in innovation, among the first in the region to adopt advanced technologies and techniques in vascular surgery
  • Quality-driven team with participation in the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI)
  • Fully integrated Epic EMR

Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute is part of Saint Luke's, the West Region of BJC Health, one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States.
