The Vehicle Acquisition Agent will be focused and specifically trained to acquire additional inventory for the dealership through active prospecting using all available prospecting resources to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle. The ideal candidate enjoys consistent interaction with customers throughout the day, both in person and over the phone. They also set appointments with potential customers to visit the dealership for an appraisal in order to acquire their vehicle.
Joe Myers Toyota Vehicle Acquisition Agents are expected to have clear communication on the phone and in person with customers looking to sell their vehicle, think critically and overcome objections, diligently follow up with clients, sell vehicles as well as purchase, and have a fun, positive attitude.

Qualifications:
- Available to work flexible hours and weekends
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
- Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve
- Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source vehicle acquisition opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts
- Contact and engage private-party sellers to assess interest in selling their vehicle
- Schedule and confirm appointments for customers to visit the dealership for vehicle appraisals
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to maximize appointment show rates
- Track and document prospecting activity and results
- Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout the acquisition process
