Tuscaloosa Ford is Hiring an Vehicle Acquisition Manager
The Vehicle Acquisition Manager will meet customers will meet customers upon arrival to discuss and appraise their vehicle for sale or trade.
They will assist in the acquisition of preowned automobiles through various channels both retail and wholesale using multiple tools including, but not limited to AutoTrader, Kelly Blue Book and social media platforms.
The Vehicle Acquisition Manager:
- Must be a self-motivating, goal oriented, task driven, creative individual
- Must have great communication skills via phone, email, and text
- Assist Pre-Owned Manager in monitoring the used automobile market for trends in vehicle values
- Monitor current used car inventory and coordinate with Preowned Manager
- Test drive to verify concerns with the vehicle as necessary
- Record performance and vehicle related data
- Manage custom Vehicle Acquisition reporting
- Excellent Phone and Customer Service Skills
- Perform other duties as required
- Ensure that the company’s policies and internal controls are followed by dealership personnel.
- Contribute to a pleasant work environment for all team members
- Provide support to other departments within dealership as needed
- Provide support to the preowned department within the dealership to increase revenue, control expenses; contribute to customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment for all team members
- Must have Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
