Now Hiring: Reconditioning / Detailing Technician

Location: Stanley Chevrolet – Belfast, Maine

Job Type: Full-Time

Stanley Chevrolet is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reconditioning / Detailing Technician. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our vehicles look their absolute best — both for our customers and for our dealership’s lot presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and detail new and pre-owned vehicles (interior and exterior)
Perform full vehicle reconditioning including vacuuming, shampooing, buffing, and waxing
Clean and detail engine bays when required
Apply protective coatings, dressings, and finishing treatments
Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet Stanley Chevrolet quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Assist with lot organization and vehicle transport as needed
Work closely with sales, service, and recon teams to prioritize vehicles

Prior detailing experience preferred (we are willing to train the right candidate)
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
