Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) & Warehouse SpecialistLocation: Richmond, VAPay: Based on ExperienceSchedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, Day Shift)Employment Type: Direct HireNow Hiring VMI & Warehouse Specialists!Qualified Staffing is recruiting a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) & Warehouse Specialist for a leading distributor of fluid system components in Richmond, VA. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that blends field service with warehouse operations. You will support customer sites by managing inventory levels, maintaining relationships, and ensuring product availability, while also assisting with warehouse operations.Field / Customer Support (60–70%)
- Manage and maintain inventory levels at customer locations
- Visit customer sites to restock, organize, and audit inventory
- Build strong relationships with customer contacts
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency
- Utilize inventory systems to track usage and maintain accuracy
- Provide basic product support and assist with product selection
- Communicate customer insights and opportunities to internal teams
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments and stock inventory
- Assist walk-in customers with order pickup and questions
- Process returns and complete required documentation
- Maintain organized inventory and accurate records
- Support quality documentation and certifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (ERP/SAP a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in warehouse and customer site environments
- Ability to pass required screenings for site access
