We are looking for a Vendor Management & Procurement Operations Manager to act as a central coordination point between Procurement, Vendor Management processes, corporate functions, and enabling systems, with a strong focus on data analysis, operational intelligence, and process optimization.

The role requires a highly analytical professional capable of combining procurement operations expertise with advanced data management and reporting capabilities, ensuring data-driven governance across the entire vendor lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming procurement and vendor management data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decisions, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Your role:

Your key duties and responsibilities

  • Act as a key reference point for Vendor Management and Procurement processes, ensuring operational continuity and consistency across tools, data, governance models, and policies.
  • Perform advanced data analysis on procurement and vendor management datasets, identifying trends, inconsistencies, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze data from key source systems and develop structured data models to improve understanding, usability, traceability, and governance of procurement and vendor information.
  • Serve as a key analytical partner for Procurement and Vendor Management stakeholders by transforming operational data into meaningful business insights and decision-support reporting.
  • Support business analysis, data engineering activities, and system/data integrations across procurement, ERP, finance, and vendor management platforms.
  • Design, maintain, and improve reporting frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, and data quality controls to support governance, audits, vendor risk monitoring, and management decision-making.
  • Ensure vendor master data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, procurement tools, vendor management platforms).
  • Manage and oversee vendor onboarding, qualification, classification, monitoring, and lifecycle governance processes.
  • Contribute to process evolution and system improvements, translating business, regulatory, operational, and control requirements into functional specifications and data requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Data teams to improve data reliability, operational transparency, and process automation.
  • Support audits, regulatory requests, and client inquiries related to Procurement and Vendor Management processes, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and reporting readiness.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required

  • Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in Vendor Management and Procurement Operations, ideally within financial services or highly regulated environments (e.g. banking, ICT outsourcing, regulated technology services).
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in data analysis, reporting, KPI monitoring, and operational intelligence within procurement or vendor management functions.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end vendor lifecycle management and procurement governance processes.
  • Proven ability to perform functional and business analysis, translating operational needs into process and data requirements.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement/vendor management platforms (e.g. SAP, Jaggaer, Vendor Management platforms).
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in data manipulation, reporting, and analytical tools; Power BI or similar BI platforms strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data structures, data quality frameworks, reconciliation logic, and system integrations.
  • Strong attention to data quality, controls, governance, and operational risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Pragmatic, structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and operational streams.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and manage both operational activities and project-based initiatives.
  • Excellent English knowledge.
