Job Description
Performs all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to site specific safety
requirements, company policy, state and federal regulations.
1) Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned which would include but are not
limited to: shoveling, rock dusting, timbering, brattice work, stoppings, and ventilation.
2) Perform other tasks and duties as required to maintain section areas in
efficient operating condition.
3) Fill in on section as needed and as qualifications allow.
4) Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- WV Underground Miner's Certification
- WV Underground Foreman Certification
- Minimum 5 years UG experience
- Thorough knowledge of underground mining practices, equipment and procedures, State and Federal mine laws, as well as company policy.
- Organizational and communication skills.
