We're seeking highly skilled, self-motivated, and team-oriented professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care in advanced veterinary medicine.Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (AVES) is seeking a Client Patient Coordinator (CPC) to join our Neurology team and help provide high quality patient care.Overview:Client Patient Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring seamless, high-quality care for patients throughout their referral journey. They serve as a key liaison between clients, referring veterinarians, and internal medical teams, helping to coordinate care with empathy, efficiency, and accuracy.Compensation:
- Starting at $21 hourly, based on experience

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily appointment schedules for doctors, ensuring efficient use of time and smooth workflow
- Answer and return client phone calls promptly, addressing questions, concerns, and follow-up needs with professionalism and compassion
- Monitor and respond to client emails; confirm upcoming appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Provide outstanding client service while supporting a “Fear Free” environment for patients and their owners
- Maintain clear, organized communication with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal medical teams
- Assist practitioners by handling administrative tasks, allowing doctors to focus on medical care
- Support patient care by preparing medical records, confirming referral documentation, and ensuring all required information is available ahead of appointments
- Demonstrate strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Approach all tasks with a positive, solution-oriented attitude, going the extra mile to support clients and the care team
- Collaborate closely with specialists and support staff to improve workflow and patient outcomes
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary role, dedicated to providing outstanding client service and excellent patient care within an emergency or specialty hospital are preferred.

- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus
