The facility is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a team of over 20 doctors, including specialists and interns, supported by more than 80 veterinary professionals.DepartmentsThe Critical Care service works in close coordination with Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and General Practice teams. The hospital features a fully staffed ICU and isolation unit, allowing for seamless patient management and continuity of care.EquipmentThe hospital is equipped with a wide range of advanced tools and technology, including:

• 3,000 sq ft ICU with species-specific wards
• Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Staffing LevelsThe ICU is staffed with multiple registered veterinary technicians and assistants per shift, all trained to execute detailed treatment plans. The Criticalist will oversee hospitalized patients without the responsibility of ER intake, allowing for focused and consistent care.Type of Individual SoughtThis hospital is seeking a confident and compassionate Criticalist who enjoys managing complex cases in a structured ICU setting. This role is ideal for someone with emergency experience who prefers a more controlled clinical environment.Qualifications RequiredApplicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency and Critical Care through the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) or the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ECVECC), and eligible for veterinary licensure in the state of Oklahoma.Benefits
