Are you a board-certified Criticalist, an experienced residency-trained Criticalist, or nearing the completion of your residency? If so, this position offers a unique opportunity for you to advance your career in Veterinary Critical Care at a premier 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Mandeville, Louisiana.Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre InformationJoin a leading AAHA-accredited hospital that specializes in a wide range of services, including Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Surgery. In 2023, the hospital moved to a new 18,000+ square foot facility, doubling the available clinical space. This practice offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment for healthcare professionals.DepartmentsYou will be part of an established Critical Care team, working alongside experts in multiple specialties. You will also have the opportunity to mentor rotating interns and collaborate with residents in Internal Medicine and Surgery.EquipmentThe hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including:

On-site digital radiology
Fluoroscopy
I-131
Ultrasound
CT
Laparoscopy
Endoscopy
High-flow oxygen

Staffing LevelsOur highly trained ICU nursing team works closely with emergency doctors and specialists. We also collaborate seamlessly with a sister hospital in New Orleans, offering extended services such as MRI, dialysis, and plasmapheresis.Type of Individual SoughtWe are seeking a dedicated, Board-certified Criticalist or an eligible candidate who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role involves working with a diverse team to provide exceptional care and mentoring future veterinary professionals.Qualifications RequiredCandidates must hold ACVECC (American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care) certification or be residency trained with eligibility for board certification.Benefits
