Job Description
Join our team at Rogue Equine and Companion Animal Clinic in Eagle Point, OR 97524 as a Veterinary Receptionist and play a vital role in providing exceptional client care and support. At Rogue Equine & Companion Animal Clinic, we are dedicated to delivering top-notch veterinary services in Southern Oregon. If you are passionate about animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you. We are looking for part time or full time candidates
Daily Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Welcome clients warmly, manage phone systems, and respond to emails and online inquiries.
- Appointment Management: Schedule and coordinate appointments, surgery drop-offs, and urgent care visits.
- Financial Transactions: Process payments and handle over-the-counter sales.
- Client Education: Provide information on hospital services and basic preventative care.
- Emotional Support: Offer compassionate assistance to distressed pet owners during emergency triage or end-of-life care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years of customer service or veterinary experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use veterinary practice management software.
- Soft Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, empathy, and the capacity to remain calm during high-stress situations.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00
