We are a large and growing emergency and specialty hospital located in beautiful Portland, Maine. Our facility is home to board-certified experts in Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dermatology.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Accurately draw up, calculate, and administer medications, maintaining patient safety
- Utilize and maintain all monitoring equipment and troubleshoot when needed
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance of anesthesia and imaging equipment
- Coordinate daily procedures across all departments
- Uphold standards related to safety, infection control, and OSHA protocols
- Serve as a patient advocate, maintaining accurate treatment and anesthesia records
Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position with the following schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Compensation
- Starting at $22/hr

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and safety protocols
- Ability to lift and assist patients (up to 45 lbs)
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
