Job Description
Fast paced veterinary clinic looking for a detail oriented veterinary technician.Main vet tech duties will include:
- Obtaining samples and running tests as ordered by veterinarians, obtaining radiographs, anesthetizing patients per veterinarian orders.
- Monitoring surgical patients, treating hospital patients.
- Assisting doctors with appointments, and filling prescriptions per doctor orders.
- As well as contacting clients to discuss patients treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an accredited school.
- 2+ years of work experience as a veterinary technician.
- Proficient computer skills.
- No visible tattoos or piercings/ willing to cover them.
- Work around X-Ray, lasers, fecal matter and various chemicals.
