What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in Menlo Park, CA to perform analysis, estimation, architecture, design, development, and integration following design patterns. Gather business requirements and functional requirements. Consult with the product team to identify and to clarify program objectives. Provide support for any production escalations. Support current application by debugging and troubleshooting production issues. Analyze design for existing modules and make design changes. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related occupation

-Requires seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as a Manager, Associate, or a related occupation

-Requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills:

• Java;
• J2EE;
• Spring;
• Hibernate;
• Oracle; and
• SQL.

-Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills:

• Tomcat;

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $214,000 and $214,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
