ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Develop and manage a commercial customer deposit relationship base; monitor prospective and existing relationships and participate in annual relationship reviews with Business Banking services
- Conduct business development calls both independently and part of a team, compile necessary data and information for financial analysis; respond to inquiries and follow up on information requests in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external centers of influence through networking and community involvement; actively cultivate business partner relationships to grow all lines of business
- Recognize commercial lending and cash management opportunities within existing customer base; create and foster a successful relationship with the commercial lending and business banking teams
- Utilize and promote the usage of Salesforce (CRM); review and analyze data to outline growth strategies
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of Bank products and services, the Bank’s brand standards and value proposition, as well as industry trends and developments that may impact lending, deposits, or customer needs
Bank Operations & Customer Experience
- Operate effectively within a lending production office environment by coordinating closely with off-site retail staff, business banking and operations to ensure customers receive a seamless, high-quality experience despite the absence of on-site retail services
- Serve as a connector between customers and internal teams, proactively coordinating support from nearby branch staff and internal departments as needed
- Ensure all customer interactions reflect and reinforce the Bank’s brand
- Ensure effective communication and information sharing across departments; identify opportunities to improve communication and implement enhancements where appropriate
- Working with the Bank’s facilities and IT teams, oversee the maintenance of the lending office, including security cameras, alarms and vaults, outside grounds, and office equipment- including regular preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
- Ensure that all compliance and quality control standards are met

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven track record in Business Development and Retail Banking
- Strong working knowledge of computer programs and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Fiserv DNA, Salesforce (or related CRM), and Synergy strongly preferred
- High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work independently
- Excellent relationship building, sales, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical with the ability to provide solutions
- Extremely organized, ability to multi-task and adapt to change while assimilating new information quickly
- Must be willing to work onsite in Salem, NH location and travel locally in MA and Southern NH to meet with customers, partners, and stakeholders
The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. This range reflects the Bank’s good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting. The Bank may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors, such as but not limited to, relevant education, experience, and skills.
