In this newly created leadership role, you will provide accountability across the technology product organization for UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual (UHC E&I). This is a transformational role as UHC E&I looks to create products and services that have exceptional consumer, employer, and broker experience. As technology product leader, you will work closely with the product leaders within the business to create and own an end-to-end business & technology roadmap. Leveraging an AI-first approach, this role is pivotal in translating product strategy into scalable, secure, and compliant technology delivery requirements, working closely with business product leadership and engineering. In this role, you will define technology roadmaps and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will partner closely with engineering teams to manage the development, testing, and deployment of differentiated, connected experiences for members, employers, providers, and partners-advancing UHC E&I's mission to deliver value-based, personalized care.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires within 30 minutes of an office in Minnesota or Washington, D.C., you'll be required to work a minimum of four days per week in-office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for technology products supporting UHC E&I
  • Translate business priorities into technology outcomes, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals
  • Develop an integrated roadmap with clear milestones tied to business impact and member experience
  • Continually evolve E&I's AI strategy to ensure we are transforming our business by effectively creating/delivering AI-centric solutions that drive business value
  • Drive collaboration across business and technology teams to eliminate duplicative investments and maximize ROI
  • Establish standardized metrics and reporting consumable by both business and technology stakeholders
  • Champion operational efficiency, cost optimization, and seamless user experiences
  • Promote product management best practices and elevate the broader technology product community within UHC E&I
  • Build and lead a high-performing Technology Product Management team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Technology Product Management in enterprise-scale environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute a cohesive technology product vision, roadmap and strategy
  • Track record of success in executive-level collaboration and trusted partnerships with business leaders
  • History of driving strategic differentiation and transformation through technology enablement in complex, regulated industries
  • Experience driving transformation of engineering processes at scale using AI
  • Proven experience in organizational design, talent development, and transformational leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Health Plan/Payer domain knowledge
  • Current residence in or willingness to relocate to MN

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $200,400 to $343,500 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
