Job Description

Envelop Group is a community of companies focused on the design, installation, and ongoing optimization of custom facility technologies that impact every square foot of a building's operations. We work with contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers to provide all the technologies needed for the most advanced, efficient, and secure operation of any facility.

The Vice Presidentof Finance is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for the overall financial strategy, financial operations, and risk management of a growing, multi-entity organization exceeding $200M in annual revenue. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and risk management, while partnering closely withthe CEO and senior leaders to support profitable growth, operational discipline, and strong financial controls.

What you'll do:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all financial functions, including accounting operations, FP&A, treasury, tax, and risk management.
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals and growth plans.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Drive cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital allocation to ensure financial flexibility and stability.
  • Oversee financial reporting and consolidation across multiple companies, ensuring timely, accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure ongoing compliance, including oversight of SOX requirements where applicable.
  • Support growth initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and integration of new offerings or divisions.
  • Evaluate and optimize cost structure, identifying and executing opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Enhance management reporting, dashboards, and business analytics to improve visibility and accountability.
  • Lead relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and insurance providers.
  • Oversee implementation and optimization of financial systems and technology solutions.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Serve as a strategicadvisor to the CEO, owners and individual company Presidents regarding financial strategy, risk management, and organizational performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldrequired. CPA, MBA, or similar advanced credentials are strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, or other project-based industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning.
  • Deep understanding of construction project accounting, cost accounting, and WIP reporting.
  • Proven experience leading organizations through growth, transformation, and M&A activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, manage change, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
