Job Description
We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing digital services organization seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and scale service delivery across the business.
This senior leader will oversee both client account services and fulfillment teams including paid media, SEO, creative, web, and analytics. The role acts as a key bridge between daily execution and long-term operational strategy, ensuring strong client outcomes, efficient delivery, and scalable growth.
This opportunity is ideal for an operational leader who has built and managed multi-team environments within a marketing agency, digital services firm, or consulting organization.
What You’ll Do
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations across client services and fulfillment teams
Align account management and delivery teams to improve collaboration and performance
Lead directors and senior managers while driving accountability around KPIs, retention, and delivery quality
Manage resource planning, workload balancing, and headcount forecasting
Operational Strategy
Translate company objectives into departmental execution plans
Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement scalable operational improvements
Establish consistent processes and service delivery standards across teams
Help design organizational structures that support growth
Client Success & Escalation Management
Support client retention and revenue growth through strong operational execution
Provide executive leadership for complex client escalations and high-value accounts
Ensure smooth onboarding, transitions, and renewals
Leadership & Organizational Development
Mentor and develop department leaders and managers
Partner with HR on hiring strategy, staffing plans, and performance management
Strengthen leadership accountability and team development
Reporting & Executive Alignment
Oversee operational reporting including KPIs, utilization, and delivery metrics
Partner with finance and executive leadership on profitability and performance targets
Provide operational updates and insights to senior leadership
What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience leading operations or service delivery teams within a marketing agency, advertising agency, digital services firm, or consulting organization
Track record managing multiple departments and leading senior managers or directors
Experience with resource planning, capacity management, and operational performance metrics
Ability to lead teams through organizational growth and change
Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
Experience improving processes and driving data-driven operational performance
