Job Description

A global financial institution is seeking a Vice President of Power Platform Engineering to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-wide Power Platform solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business transformation—perfect for an engineer who can blend hands-on technical mastery with a strategic mindset.

You’ll drive innovation across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI—building secure, scalable systems that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft and third-party ecosystems. What You’ll Do

Architect and develop robust applications using Power Apps and Dataverse, integrating with SharePoint, Azure, SQL, and external APIs.
Build automated workflows in Power Automate to streamline business processes and improve operational speed.
Design data models, entities, and relationships that ensure clean, scalable data management.
Integrate Power Platform with Office 365, Azure Functions, and other enterprise systems for full-stack connectivity.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.
Partner with business users to understand pain points, define requirements, and deliver tailor-made, elegant solutions.
Maintain and monitor application performance, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and data integrity.
Manage platform governance—clean up unused apps, archive redundant data, and optimize cost.
Participate in Agile sprints, collaborating closely with PMs, analysts, and fellow developers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Oversee automation of testing, deployment, and documentation, enforcing SDLC best practices.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages).
Proven record building custom applications, workflows, and data-driven reports in complex enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of integration architecture across Microsoft and external systems (Azure, Salesforce, APIs, etc.).
Familiarity with Azure Functions, DevOps pipelines, SQL, and Python a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills—able to balance technical depth with business awareness.
