Role Summary

The Vice President of Sales, Clinical Solutions will be responsible for leading revenue growth and sales execution for ConcertAI's AI-powered SaaS and software solutions serving the life sciences market, with a strong emphasis on real-world data (RWD) and oncology. This VP-level leader will oversee a team of Account Reps spanning enterprise through mid-market accounts and will be directly accountable for meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

This role is hands-on and execution-oriented, requiring deep experience selling complex AI-enabled data and analytics platforms. The VP will bring strong working knowledge of the AI and GenAI landscape and be able to translate these capabilities into differentiated commercially compelling value propositions across RWE, clinical development, medical affairs, and commercial oncology use cases.

Role Summary

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for ConcertAI's AI SaaS and software offerings focused on RWD and RWE, with a primary concentration in oncology.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth through new logo acquisition, enterprise account expansion, and cross-sell/upsell of ConcertAI's AI-enabled data and analytics platforms.
  • Own and deliver against annual and multi-year revenue targets across enterprise and mid-market segments.
  • Partner with executive leadership to inform go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, and market prioritization.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, hire, performance manage, and scale a high-performing team of Account Executives covering enterprise, strategic, and mid-market life sciences customers.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, sales methodologies, forecasting rigor, operational excellence, and accountability across the team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and disciplined execution aligned with ConcertAI's growth objectives.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Enablement to optimize performance, accelerate ramp time and deliver exceptional results.

Client Engagement & Market Presence

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with senior stakeholders across biopharma, including R&D, Clinical Development, RWE, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Data/Analytics teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on the application of AI, GenAI, and real-world data to solve complex oncology and life sciences business challenges.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving multi-stakeholder buying groups and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Represent ConcertAI externally at industry conferences, client meetings, and thought leadership forums.

AI, GenAI & Industry Expertise

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies as applied to life sciences data, including machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, and advanced analytics.
  • Stay current on trends in AI-enabled RWE, oncology research, regulatory expectations, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate evolving AI and GenAI capabilities into clear value propositions for customers, aligning technology innovation with measurable business outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Marketing, and Consulting teams to ensure alignment between product roadmap, market needs, and sales execution.
  • Provide market-driven feedback to inform product innovation, roadmap prioritization, and messaging.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff from sales to implementation and customer success, driving long-term value realization and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in SaaS or software sales within life sciences, healthcare, data, or analytics, with significant exposure to real-world data and oncology.
  • Demonstrated experience selling AI-powered or advanced analytics platforms; strong familiarity with AI and GenAI concepts and their commercial application is required.
  • Highly preferred experience selling into Clinical Development, RWE, Medical Affairs, or HEOR organizations.
  • Direct experience with RWE through technology platforms, data products, and/or deep consulting-led engagements.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling sales teams of 10+ Account Executives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of oncology therapeutics, clinical trials, healthcare data ecosystems, and regulatory considerations related to RWD/RWE.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic, data-driven mindset with strong forecasting, deal management, and operational discipline.
