Role SummaryThe Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the company’s sales strategy to drive consistent, profitable growth.
This is a highly hands-on leadership role. The VP of Sales will be physically present in the office and deeply embedded in the daily performance of the sales organization — reviewing calls, refining scripts, analyzing performance data, coaching managers, and elevating frontline execution — while simultaneously shaping strategy, structure, and growth initiatives.
This leader must be both a dynamic operator and a strategic architect.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Sales Leadership:Define and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed aggressive company revenue targets.
- Performance Optimization:Utilize advanced analytics to drive sales efficiency, improve client enrollment metrics, and optimize sales funnels.
- Team Development & Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage large teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on empathy, professionalism, and results.
- Operational Excellence:Implement technology-driven solutions, including Salesforce, to streamline sales processes, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and enhance the client experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Marketing, Data/Analytics, and Client Services departments to align sales strategies with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience:10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior-level role. Proven track record in high-volume B2C inside sales environment. Call center leadership experience is required.
- Skills:Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills; proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Industry Knowledge:Knowledge of debt relief, financial services, consumer finance or other highlyregulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Attributes:High sense of accountability, urgency, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
