RefrigiWear, a global leader in protective apparel and equipment designed for extreme environments, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales – Food, West Region to lead and accelerate revenue growth across our Food vertical within the Western United States. This leadership role is ideal for a proven regional sales executive who thrives in building high-performing teams, driving strategic account expansion, and delivering measurable revenue results within cold-chain, food processing, distribution, and temperature-controlled storage sectors.

You will serve as both a regional sales leader and strategic account driver-developing the sales organization within your region while directly engaging with key regional and multi-location customers to ensure revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term partnerships.

Overview

The Vice President of Sales – Food, West Region is responsible for leading the regional food vertical sales strategy, execution, and performance. This role owns regional revenue growth, sales organizational effectiveness, strategic account development, and cross-functional alignment across Regional Sales Directors, Inside Sales, and National Account teams within the West.

This leader will drive growth through:

  • New customer acquisition
  • New facility penetration within existing enterprise accounts
  • Increased wallet share
  • Increased sales volume and reorder frequency
  • Expansion into new product categories
  • Strategic pricing and margin management
  • Reduction of customer churn

In addition to managing the regional sales organization, the VP will personally engage with high-value regional and multi-location accounts to strengthen executive relationships, negotiate strategic agreements, and accelerate revenue achievement.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive West Region food sales strategy aligned to corporate and vertical growth objectives.
  • Establish annual regional revenue targets, growth plans, and territory performance expectations.
  • Drive new customer acquisition within food processing, cold storage, distribution, and warehousing segments across the Western region.
  • Expand footprint within existing enterprise accounts through new facility penetration and expanded category adoption.
  • Increase wallet share and multi-line product adoption across key regional accounts.
  • Implement pricing and margin strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
  • Establish measurable KPIs for revenue growth, churn reduction, and pipeline development within the region.

Organizational Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop Regional Sales Directors within the West Region.
  • Build a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined CRM usage.
  • Coach and mentor sales leaders on strategic selling, territory planning, and executive engagement.
  • Partner with HR to recruit, retain, and develop top-tier regional sales talent.
  • Align regional compensation and incentive plans with growth and performance objectives.

Strategic Account Engagement

  • Personally manage and develop executive relationships with top regional and multi-location food accounts.
  • Participate in high-level sales meetings, contract negotiations, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Support complex deals, multi-location rollouts, and regional supply agreements.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for priority regional accounts.
  • Identify white-space opportunities across customer networks to drive additional revenue growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing to align regional campaigns, product launches, and demand generation strategies.
  • Work with Product and Merchandising teams to align assortment strategy with West Region food industry needs.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility through disciplined CRM governance.
  • Provide regional insight into product innovation, competitive threats, and emerging industry trends.

Performance & Accountability

  • Own regional revenue attainment and growth targets for the Food vertical.
  • Monitor pipeline health, win rates, average deal size, facility penetration rates, and customer retention metrics.
  • Drive accountability across territories to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Present regular regional performance updates to the SVP of Sales – Food and executive leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • 8–12 years of progressive B2B sales leadership experience, with significant experience in food processing, cold-chain, industrial PPE, or related markets.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-state or regional sales organizations.
  • Proven track record of exceeding regional revenue targets and driving territory expansion.
  • Experience managing both sales teams and strategic regional accounts.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decision-makers across mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Deep understanding of multi-location selling strategies and facility penetration models.
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong CRM and forecasting expertise.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Western region as needed to support key accounts and sales teams.
