Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for shaping raw footage into polished, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's vision and engages target audiences across multiple platforms. While some filming and production support may be required, this role will focus heavily on post-production editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling for digital campaigns, social media, websites, and promotional materials. This position requires a professional with a strong editorial eye, technical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the post-production process, including reviewing footage, assembling edits, applying color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and exporting final deliverables for a variety of platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling video narratives, storyboards, and scripts that align with brand messaging.
  • Incorporate animations, graphics, and visual effects to elevate storytelling and meet project objectives.
  • Ensure consistent video quality, style, and branding across all projects.
  • Organize and maintain a video content library, ensuring footage is properly archived and easily accessible.
  • Provide editing support for live-stream recordings, event coverage, and promotional campaigns.
  • Stay current with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging software to continuously enhance production quality.
  • Assist with occasional videography needs, including camera operation, lighting setup, and audio capture, when required.
  • Support marketing efforts with photography or still content when needed.
  • Collect and maintain release forms to ensure compliance with usage requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in marketing, agency, or content production roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Skilled in motion graphics, visual effects, color grading, and sound design.
  • Familiar with video compression formats, codecs, and optimization for online platforms.
  • Skills:
  • Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently or collaboratively.
