The role
Havas ProductionStudios (HPS),located in New York City, is part of the HAVAS Health and You global network of advertisingagencies. We produce videos across a broad cross-section of genres and techniques—everythingfrom complex3D animation tointricate motion graphics todocumentary style live action. Wenow have an excitingopportunity fora Video Producer well versed in the production and post-production process.
The ideal candidate will have energy in abundance, an excellent sense of how to portray diverse storytellingwith motion graphics, animation and/or footage, and be able to foster the productionof engagingand emotivecontent with creative flair. In this role, you will be working closely with agency creative and account teams, New Media Buyers, and our editors and producers. You willhave a hand in every aspect of video and animationproduction frominception through completion. Youwill be responsible forproducing individual projects; managing project workflows, budgets and timelines; and coordinatingresources and talent. You must be able to handle multiple projectssimultaneously, becomfortable working under pressure, and be extremely organized in deliveringhigh-quality videocontent.
What we expect from you
A background in a professional post-productionenvironment
A sound understandingand experience with all elements of the production process
A strong understandingof editingworkflows and file structuring
Experience simultaneouslymanaging multiple projects atan advertising agency or similarwork environment
Direct video productionsand voice-overrecording sessions
Ensure editors and animators have the necessarydirections andassets
Estimate, budget, and trackvideo project costs
Provide creative and practical inputduring all production phases
Have a creative mindset
The abilityto establish prioritieswhile handling multipleprojects
Collaborate withCreative Directors, Art Directors, and Copy Writers
Fantastic communicationand team skills
Maintain quality control toassure that all work meets the highest possible standards
Vigilantly seekto optimizeresources
Foster a positiveteam atmosphere and establish credibility,both internally and externally
Provide constructive and direct ongoingfeedback
Perform other job-relatedtasks as assigned by his/her supervisor
Embody service-oriented attitude
Uphold quality standards in servicing the Account and Creative Teams, and ultimately theClient
Project a professional,positive attitudeand image, always representing HPS favorably
Experience as a video or filmmakerand/or a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or other post-productionsoftware is a plus,but not required.
6+ years experience as a producer
