Job Description
Summary:
- Location: 2450 East Peoria St, Aurora, CO, 80014
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time video remote interpretation between patients, families, and healthcare providers in the patient’s preferred language.
- Accurately interpret medical terminology, including anatomy, procedures, and medications.
- Support effective communication in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all patient privacy policies.
- Assist with translation of written documents, as needed.
- Act as a trusted cultural and linguistic resource for care teams.
Requirements:
- MUST BE A FLUENT SPANISH SPEAKER.
- Successful completion of a medical interpreter competency assessment (to be administered by the company).
- Completion of a 40-hour medical interpreter training program (example: "Bridging the Gap").
- Minimum of 2 years of medical interpretation experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior Video Remote Interpretation experience.
- Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) or Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI) credential.
