Video Surveillance Operator

Position: Video Surveillance Operator (Night Shift) Location: Las Vegas, NV 89118 Duration: 6+ Month Contract Schedule Night Shift (5x8 Schedule) Tuesday - Saturday Able to work Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM Job Description: Our client is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Surveillance Operators to join their Operations Center in Las Vegas. This is a fully onsite, desk-based monitoring role responsible for observing live video surveillance feeds, identifying suspicious or unsafe activity, and responding appropriately through audio intervention and incident escalation. Operators monitor multiple properties nationwide using proprietary surveillance technology and coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and property representatives as needed. Key Responsibilities Monitor multiple live video surveillance feeds simultaneously. Identify unauthorized, suspicious, or unsafe activity in real time. Issue live audio warnings when appropriate. Contact law enforcement, first responders, or property contacts for active incidents. Create accurate and detailed incident reports. Navigate multiple monitors, software applications, and browser tabs concurrently. Maintain vigilance and focus throughout the shift. Escalate technical concerns to IT support when necessary. Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and performance expectations. Required Qualifications Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English. Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with law enforcement and property managers. Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously. Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM. Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Ability to remain seated and focused for extended periods. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must be available to work weekends. Must be able to successfully complete mandatory training requirements.
