Job Description:
The Department of Film Media Theater at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a one-semester visiting lecturer position as Costume Designer and Costume Shop Manager for the Fall 2026 semester, beginning July 26, 2026 through January 9, 2027. The candidate will run the costume shop and design costumes for one mainstage production.
Qualifications for the position include an MFA or ABD in theatre with a background in costume design or technology. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of strong teaching at the undergraduate level and experience mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, and religion.
