Job Description
State Street is seeking a talented visual designer with 4+ years of experience and astrongportfolioof creativeworkspanning digital and traditional media including campaigns, websites, and motion. This is an opportunity for a creative professional who is energized bythe power of brand expression andvisualstorytellingandismotivated by the chance to create high-impact work for a global audience.
As part of State Street’s Brand andCreativeteam within Global Marketing, you will partner withcreative leadership,designers, producers,andinternal communicationscolleagues to create thoughtful, polished creativefor State Street’s internal communications efforts globally. Your creative ideas and work will directlyengage, inform and inspire50,000+employees around the world. The ideal candidate ishighly creative, proactive,detail-oriented, collaborative,and comfortableworking on both individual products and integrated campaignsin a fast-paced in-house studio.
What you will bring to the team
A strong portfolio and a clear passion for branding, design and visual storytelling
A refined eye for typography, composition, visual hierarchy and detail
Experience working within established brand strategies, design systems and guidelines
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to present creative work with confidence
The ability to workbothindependentlyand as a team, manage competing prioritiesand deadlines
Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate workflows, manage timelines and keep multiple projects moving forward
Confidence and agilityin moving from concept to production, with strong judgment, discretion and accountability
What you will be responsible for
Translate internal communication strategies into compelling creative conceptsandlayoutsfor the company’s employeecommunicationsand campaigns to promote brand and product launches,employeeprograms and events, ,reports,and employee-wide emails.
Own the design and global deployment of digital signageassetsacross offices using ourAppspace platform
Maintain brand consistency across projectsby adhering to State Street’s brand guidelines and executing withsound judgment and collaborationbetweeninternal teams and external vendors
Create and optimize digital, presentation and campaign assets for internal communications
Develop information graphics that make complex ideas clear and engaging
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective design solutions
Prepare production-ready files, templates and archived assets with accuracy and consistency
Skills and Requirements
Formal training in graphic or visual design and/or 4+ years of experience in a design studio, agency or in-house creative team
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloudapplications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobatis required; experience withAdobePremiere, After Effects and Audition is a plus
Proficiency in Figma is required
Proven expertise working with Adobe Firefly or similar generative AI tools is required
Experiencewith Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word, is required
Demonstrated experience creating strong visual communications, campaigns and presentations
Proven ability to deliverclean, accurate, refined, production-readyartwork
Expertknowledge of digitalproduction methods;videoand printexperienceisa plus
Experience designingdigital assetsfor Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, Teams and Stream— or similar platforms
Experience in B2B marketing or financial services isnot required, but isa plus
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $113,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
