We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Voluntary Benefits SalesProfessional Team for the West Zone, at Mercer.  This is a hybrid role and has a requirement of working at least three days in office. The candidate can be based in any of the following West Zone offices: Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle. 

We will count on you to:

• Lead prospect identification and account expansion strategies within a specific geography or specialty, driving growth and new business opportunities.

• Liaise with clients and accounts to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver tailored solutions that address their business needs.

• Coach team members on sales strategies, including cold calling, presentation development, negotiation, and relationship management, to support team enablement.

• Partner with Core Health Consultants to develop and strengthen relationships.

• Build and maintain relationships with external partners.

• Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.

What you need to have:

• 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management with a strong focus on voluntary benefits.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute targeted outreach efforts.

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,000 to $194,500.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
