Who You'll Work With:
The ETF Capital Markets team at AB is a highly energized, very active participant in all parts of ETF construction, ETF management, and ETF distribution. As part of the Capital Markets team, you will work with an array of groups inside the firm, as well as manage relationship with many of our ecosystem partners. You will partner with a variety of stakeholders across the firm to support an expanding suite of ETFs to ensure operational excellence in design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of our ETF capital markets function. You will work closely with our APs, market makers, and exchanges to ensure secondary market quality, managing not only the quantitative part but qualitative part of the relationship.
What You'll Do:
Assist in managing market making and AP relationships and cultivate more
Manage the platform desk trading relationships
Work on market quality of our ETF suite
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence of our ETFs in design, delivery and execution
This could include the likes of leading initiatives across Portfolio management, ops, and outside vendors to solve problems
Develop strong relationships with sales team and get more involved in client meetings
Assist clients with efficient ETF trading execution and provide education on ETF liquidity and trading strategies
Thought leadership internally and externally
Assist in daily management of our ETFs as it relates to tax efficiency, spreads, etc.
Assist in seed management
Work with internal stakeholders to continue ETF education
Monitoring regulatory and market structure changes to make sure we are aligned with industry standards
What We're Looking For:
7+ years of experience in ETF capital markets, trading, market making, or a related field, with a solid understanding of ETF structure and trading workflows.
Existing relationships with partners in the ecosystem
Commercial awareness of active ETF landscape and what is driving primary market activity.
Experience with ETF fundamentals and factors that drive pricing and liquidity
In-depth knowledge of equity, fixed-income, and derivatives markets, as well as ETF creation/redemption mechanisms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in market surveillance tools and trading platforms.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Exceptional relationship management skills where you can build trust with all your counterparties
Extensive experience working with Bloomberg
Series 7 & 63 Licenses

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:
Base Salary Range: $195,000 to $200,00
Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards.
