Inizio Evoke Comms is a global, award-winning health communications agency partnering with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, consumer, and non-profit clients to deliver insights-driven public relations, policy, and communications programs that advance health and wellbeing worldwide.

We are currently looking for a Vice President, Media Relations to drive standout, insight-led campaigns for some of the world's leading health brands.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and media influence.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the development and delivery of strategic media relations programmes across key consumer health accounts
• Act as a senior client partner and trusted advisor, shaping media strategy aligned to brand and business goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier consumer, lifestyle, and health media
• Oversee high-quality execution of campaigns, ensuring best-in-class media engagement and results
• Provide expert counsel on issues management and crisis communications in fast-moving, consumer-facing environments
• Lead client workshops, media training sessions, and stakeholder engagement initiatives
• Drive integrated thinking across account teams, ensuring media is central to broader communications strategies
• Manage, mentor, and inspire junior team members, supporting their growth and development
• Play a key role in new business-leading media strategy in pitches and identifying growth opportunities

 What you'll bring

• 10+ years' experience in media relations, ideally within consumer health
• A strong network of media contacts and a proven ability to secure impactful, top-tier coverage
• Deep understanding of consumer audiences, trends, and culturally relevant storytelling
• Demonstrated success managing complex client relationships and acting as a senior strategic partner
• Experience leading teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Strong commercial awareness and experience contributing to business growth and new business pitches
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary - that's why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.

Compensation

$130,000—$185,000 USD
