Job Overview:

The Vice President (VP),Strategic Delivery Program Managementleads the coordination,integrationand execution of high-impact strategic initiatives across multiple technology and businessportfolio’s.This role ensures clear alignment to technologyenablerpriorities, effective governance, strong cross-functionalcollaborationand measurablevalue realization. The VPprovidesexecutive-level insights, reporting and recommendations to senior leadershipand the C-suite, enabling data-driven decisions andcontinuousprogress towardlong-term strategic outcomes. This leader oversees a team of program and projectmanagers, portfolioanalystand reporting specialists, fostering operational excellence and accountability across the technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic, cross-organizational programs that span multiple product and technology areas.

  • Align initiatives to enterprise strategy, ensuring prioritization and resource allocation reflect overarchingobjectives.

  • Establish andmaintainstrong program governance frameworks, including standards, controls, and performance metrics.

  • Identify, track, and manageinterdependenciesacross programs, portfolios, and business functions.

  • Translate complex program data into clear, concise executive-level reporting, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership.

  • Partner closely with the C-suite and executive stakeholders to support strategic planning and drive informed decision-making.

  • Ensure each program delivers measurable value and contributes to broader organizational outcomes.

  • Connect operational execution with long-term strategic milestones and technology-wideobjectives.

  • Develop and mentor a team of project managers, portfolio analysts, and reporting specialists.

  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, continuous improvement, anddeliveryexcellence.

  • Oversee risk management across programs, proactively addressing issues that couldimpactdelivery or strategic alignment.

  • Driveadoptionof consistent tools, methodologies, and best practices for program and portfolio management.

  • Oversee program and portfolio level budgetmanagement, includingforecasting, trackingspend, ensuring financial alignment to strategic priorities, andoptimizingresource allocation across initiatives. 

  • Escalates unresolved cross-program issues to the established executive forum for prioritization, funding alignment or timeline decisions. 

  • Assistswithadditionalprojects orinitiatives asassigned, providing planning or coordination support toensure organization priorities are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, release management, or Agile delivery leadership within a large enterprise, preferably financial services.

  • PMP,PgMP,SAFecertifications

  • ExperienceinSAFe; Kanban/Scrum/Waterfall

  • Executive presence withdemonstratedability to engage, influence, and provide insight to SVPs and C-level leaders.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience delivering executive dashboards and program updates.

  • Knowledge of financialservicesregulatoryand compliance requirements.

Pay Range:

$124,913-$208,189/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
