The Vice President, Digital Product - Provider Data Platforms is a leader responsible for defining and executing the strategy, roadmap, and operating model for the enterprise Provider Data Platform and associated data products.
They will lead the transformation of fragmented provider data into trusted, governed, and reusable enterprise assets that power digital experiences, operational workflows, and advanced analytics across the organization.
The VP will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and business leaders to deliver scalable platform capabilities that enable consistent provider experiences, improve operational efficiency, and support enterprise growth and regulatory requirements.
This position operates in a highly matrixed environment and requires influencing senior stakeholders across multiple business segments.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enterprise Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute the enterprise strategy and roadmap for the Provider Data Platform (PDP), aligned to organizational priorities and business outcomes
- Establish a scalable vision for provider data as a strategic enterprise asset, supporting provider, consumer, and operational use cases
- Drive convergence of fragmented data sources into a unified, governed platform
Digital Product Leadership (Data as a Product)
Lead a portfolio of Provider Data Products, including:
Provider identity and profile services
Canonical provider data models and 'golden record'
APIs, eventing, and data access services
Analytics and AI-enabled data products
Define product vision, roadmaps, KPIs, and success measures for all platform capabilities
Ensure alignment of product investments to measurable business outcomes
Platform & Capability Ownership
- Own the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of enterprise provider data platform capabilities
- Establish reusable, scalable platform services that support multiple business domains and journeys
- Drive adoption of 'build once, reuse many' capabilities across the enterprise
Data Governance, Quality, and Standards
Define and enforce enterprise data governance frameworks, including:
Data quality standards and validation processes
Metadata, lineage, and data ownership models
Access controls, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Ensure provider data is accurate, reliable, and consistently defined across systems
Identity, Profile, and Data Foundations
Lead enterprise capabilities for:
Provider identity resolution (individual and organization)
Profile and attribute management
Affiliation and relationship modeling
Longitudinal provider data (history and change tracking)
Establish consistent enterprise patterns for identity, profile, and consent management
Integration & API Ecosystem
Define and scale provider data integration patterns across:
APIs and microservices
Event-driven architectures
Data products and analytics platforms
Enable seamless data consumption across digital experiences, operational systems, and AI/ML models
Experience & Journey Enablement
Enable end-to-end provider and enterprise journeys through the PDP
Align platform capabilities to key journeys such as:
Provider onboarding and credentialing
Prior authorization and service workflows
Provider search and network management
Ensure alignment of product delivery to experience and operational KPIs
AI, Analytics & Decisioning Enablement
Enable advanced analytics, AI, and decisioning use cases through high-quality provider data
Support use cases including:
Provider matching and search relevance
Data enrichment and validation
Workflow automation and optimization
Ensure platform readiness for AI/ML capabilities and emerging technologies
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with senior leaders across:
Product management (journeys and platforms)
Engineering and architecture
Data engineering, data science, and analytics
Operations, compliance, and risk
Influence enterprise decision-making across business segments and technology organizations
Lead through influence in a complex, matrixed environment
Delivery, Adoption & Value Realization
Ensure successful delivery of platform capabilities with a focus on:
Adoption and usage across business units
Reduction in fragmented or duplicate systems
Improved data accessibility and usability
Track and report on:
Business outcomes
Operational efficiency improvements
Experience metrics
Organization & Talent Development
Build and lead high-performing teams across:
Digital product management
Data product management
Platform product leadership
Establish best practices, playbooks, and standards for enterprise data product management
Develop leadership pipeline and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation

Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in digital product management, data platform leadership, or related field
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing large, enterprise-scale teams
- Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise digital platforms in a highly regulated industry
- Experience with data platforms, APIs, integration architectures, or distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to influence & achieve goals through matrixed teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare provider data domains (e.g., provider directories, credentialing, network management, clinical or operational data)
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled digital products, AIDLC or Agentic delivery
- Experience with enterprise identity and master data management solutions
- Data product management experiences
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives across matrixed organizations

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $200,400 to $343,500 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
