This is an exceptional opportunity to join an early-stage AI Healthcare tech company with a proven product, established customer base, solid revenue streams, and explosive growth potential.The Opportunity:Curative AI, Inc. is seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Senior/Vice President of Engineering to lead our efforts in cutting-edge AI software development. As VP/SVP of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading teams of dedicated professionals with engineering expertise in Data, Software, DevOps, AI, and IT, and ensuring that our AI-powered healthcare solutions are built to meet real-world needs. You will own and drive our engineering organization - the backbone of our success - with exceptional leadership and transformational technical vision, contributing to establishing Curative AI as a market leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership. Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Translate company strategy into actionable engineering plans across Data, Software, DevOps, AI, and IT Engineering teams
  • Team Leadership and Development. Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams. Establish a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Technical Architecture Oversight. Guide the design and evolution of scalable, robust architectures for AI systems, data pipelines, and software platforms. Ensure systems are built for performance, reliability, and security
  • AI and ML Development. Lead the development and deployment of sophisticated AI/ML models and applications. Balance research innovation with production-ready implementation
  • Data Engineering Excellence. Direct the creation of efficient, scalable data platforms and pipelines that serve as the foundation for AI/ML systems and business intelligence
  • DevOps and Infrastructure. Champion DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Oversee cloud strategy and implementation to enable rapid development and deployment
  • IT Operations and Security. Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of all technology systems, working closely with the company's CISO. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that safeguard company and customer data in collaboration with the company's CISO
  • Cross-functional Collaboration. Partner across the organization to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet market needs
  • Resource Management. Optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines. Make strategic decisions about build vs. buy, technical debt, and investment priorities
  • Technical Evangelism. Represent the company's engineering capabilities both internally and externally. Support sales and marketing efforts with technical expertise

Qualifications:

  • Currently located in the Seattle Metro Region and able to work hybrid on-site a minimum of three days at our Bellevue location
  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (especially in fields related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science)
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles within healthcare technology, AI-driven software and SaaS solutions, preferably in AI/ML-focused early-stage, start-up companies
  • Deep understanding of modern software development practices, AI/ML technologies, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations
  • Strong grasp of machine learning frameworks, AI model development lifecycle, and the practical implementation of AI systems at scale
  • Experience building and managing large-scale data systems and pipelines that power AI applications
  • Proven track record implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies
  • Exceptional ability to inspire, mentor, and develop engineering talent. Experience scaling engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy to technical implementation, making appropriate trade-offs between speed, quality, and innovation
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of business metrics, market dynamics, and how engineering decisions impact company performance.
  • Familiarity with AI industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies that could impact engineering initiatives

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
