The Opportunity
This role reports directly to the President. You’ll oversee Directors, Production Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership across all divisions. This is operational command.
You will:
- Set operational strategy across all heavy civil disciplines
- Own execution performance, safety culture, and profitability
- Drive production rates, labor productivity, and equipment utilization
- Strengthen field-to-office alignment
- Lead resource planning and scaling for growth
- Develop and mentor the next generation of operations leadership
- Monitor P&L performance and operational budgets
- Represent the company with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in heavy civil construction
- Proven success managing large-scale, self-performing operations
- Strong P&L ownership and financial discipline
- Deep understanding of heavy civil methods, equipment, and safety
- Strategic thinker who can also execute
- Leader who builds accountability and develops talent
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related experience required.
- Must be located in Colorado.
