VP of Sales / Sales Manager

We are partnering with an established flooring organization to identify a senior sales leader overseeing property management and multifamily business across the Baltimore–New Jersey corridor, including Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. This is a field-based leadership role focused on developing sales teams, strengthening customer relationships, expanding market share, and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop property management and multifamily sales teams throughout the assigned territory• Establish sales goals, expectations, and accountability across markets• Coach sales representatives on prospecting, account development, pricing, margins, and customer retention• Develop strategies to grow existing accounts and pursue new multifamily opportunities• Build relationships with property management companies, ownership groups, developers, and key decision-makers• Participate in major customer presentations, negotiations, and strategic account development• Identify underpenetrated accounts and markets and develop growth strategies• Partner with branch leadership, operations, estimating, installation, and purchasing to improve customer experience• Monitor sales, gross margin, retention, pipeline activity, and other KPIs• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop sales professionals• Implement consistent sales processes and expectations across markets• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic accounts, pricing, and growth initiatives

Ideal Background

• Significant sales leadership experience in flooring, multifamily, property management, construction, building products, or a related industry• Proven success developing sales teams and growing revenue• Strong understanding of relationship-driven B2B sales• Existing relationships within the multifamily or property management industry strongly preferred• Strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, pricing, and profitability• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and negotiation skills• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory• Flooring industry experience strongly preferred
