Job DetailsJob Details:Are you a seasoned professional in the field of supply chain management with a knack for strategic planning and cost reduction? Do you have a proven track record of managing third-party logistics (3PL) and risk management? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a VP of Supply Chain.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our supply chain management. The VP of Supply Chain will play a vital role in our company's operations, overseeing the entire supply chain, from procurement to strategic sourcing. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be responsible for driving efficiency, reducing costs, and managing risks associated with our supply chain.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.2. Manage and oversee the entire supply chain, from procurement to strategic sourcing.3. Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain.4. Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective services.5. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to optimize operations and reduce costs.7. Develop and maintain KPIs for supply chain performance, and report on these regularly.8. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, and leverage this knowledge to improve our supply chain operations.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supply chain management role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.3. Proven experience in cost reduction, 3PL management, risk management, procurement, and strategic sourcing.4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.6. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure advantageous terms.7. Excellent knowledge of supply chain management software and tools.8.
