Job Description

We are committed to helping children succeed in all stages of life through evidence-based therapy and education, diagnostic services, state of the art facilities, specialized equipment, family support, and community investment.  We are currently looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of VP of Talent Acquisition!  They will oversee all talent acquisition functions, including workforce planning, recruitment operations, employer branding, and talent pipeline development. The VP of Talent Acquisition will collaborate closely with leadership teams to ensure staffing needs are met with high-quality candidates who align with Pediatrics Plus’s values and objectives and ensuring staffing strategies support organizational growth and operational needs.

What you will do:

  • Develops and implements Pediatrics Plus’s recruiting strategy in alignment with organizational goals and workforce planning.
  • Sets long-term and short-term talent acquisition objectives and creates hiring plans to achieve them.
  • Leads recruiting initiatives that improve the speed, quality, and diversity of the candidate pipeline.
  • Leads a team of recruiters, providing direction, support, and professional development.
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Oversees the full cycle recruiting process for all roles, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Implements sourcing strategies that leverage job boards, social media, team member referrals, and networking.
  • Works closely with leadership to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and uses data to track and optimize recruiting efforts such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
  • Ensures recruitment practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Analyzes and reports on recruitment performance, offering insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develops and promotes strategies that foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Ensures Pediatrics Plus’s recruitment practices support diversity initiatives and help meet diversity hiring goals.
  • Works with the marketing team to build and promote Pediatrics Plus’s employer brand, ensuring it resonates with potential candidates.
  • Leverages social media, job fairs, partnerships, and other channels to enhance Pediatrics Plus’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Continuously assesses and improves recruiting processes, tools, and technologies to streamline hiring and improve efficiency.
  • Implements best practices in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Partners with HR, leadership, and hiring leaders to understand departmental needs and ensure hiring processes are efficient.
  • Cultivates relationships with external recruitment agencies, colleges, and other organizations to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Participates in one-on-one meetings with their leader.

What you have:

  • Ability to develop and execute high-volume and/or executive-level recruiting strategies.
  • Expert in talent acquisition tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate sourcing platforms.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations related to hiring practices.
  • Experience with recruiting automation tools and technologies such as LinkedIn Recruiter, HireVue, and Greenhouse.
  • Ability to think creatively and operate within budget guidelines.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and high energy level to facilitate engagement.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions across the company.
  • Ability to function independently in all aspects, including project identification, evaluation, contract negotiations, and coordination with management and internal departments.
  • Ability to represent the company in a confident, persuasive, and positive manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, required.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

The employee is regularly required to move including walking, running, jumping, and sitting. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, lift, reach, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
