Job SummaryWe are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor the safety of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing conflict management when necessary.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed in case of emergencies or investigations.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security management is preferred.
• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
