Introduction:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Waffles and Ice Cream Artisan to join our team and provide excellent service to guests during business hours. This entry-level position involves handling all aspects of a waffles and ice cream store, including preparing and serving dessert delicacies while ensuring a positive guest experience. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, present themselves as well-mannered and well-groomed, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a highly interactive and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain the waffles, ice cream, and coffee areas, including arranging toppings, setting up serving utensils, and ensuring an appealing display.
• Prepare and serve waffle dishes, ice cream sundaes, coffee beverages, and other dessert items, as well as milkshakes and soft drinks.
• Ensure that all areas are clean, well-stocked, and organized at all times.
• Assist guests with any questions or needs they may have regarding the menu or their orders.
• Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned related to the operation of the waffles, ice cream, and coffee store.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is ideal

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 10 pounds)

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus
